- Authors
Mujica Johnson, Felipe Nicolás
- Abstract
Emotions for a long time have been little considered in educational processes, however, in the face of scientific updating and pedagogical reflection, they have begun to be incorporated. Therefore, in this article we analyze from a critical perspective, the proposal of emotional education, which is based on positive psychology and emotional intelligence. From this analysis, its contribution to human development is highlighted, but an inclination in favor of well-being and against discomfort is identified, which can generate a permissive or weak education at the moral level. Therefore, it is concluded that an integral education requires the generation of positive and negative emotions for subjective well-being, since both contribute to the moral development of people.
