- Abstract
The contemporary critical scene has witnessed the conflictive phenomenon of literary revisions approached through two different ways: the ethic approach and the aesthetic one. If the revisionist perspective has postulated the importance of the moral criterion as the basic rule of re-reading, the 'autonomist' critique takes into consideration the inner value of the writing despite of the 'moral profile' of its author. The debate enhances two ways of re-considering the 'culprit' texts of the totalitarian period as well as the notion of 'iconic' writer.
