- Abstract
It is well said that any organization can grow in healthy atmosphere only. The balance healths of the employees are concern with the occupation in which they are engage. Money is not everything to live happy life but it is also necessary to maintain complete physical, mental and social well being of the people. It is really the foundation upon which all their happening and well-being depends. In the present paper an attempt has been made to present an overview of Indian Textile Industry in terms of the problem related to health and safety issues of workers based upon their working environment, working condition, problem of health, causes of diseases, causes of different accident and their available medical facilities. Occupational safety and health can be important for moral, legal and financial reasons. The textiles industry has made massive employment for both skilled and unskilled labor in textiles. Mostly in textile, industry large number of technical, mechanical, chemical process are involved which shows large impact on environment and human health.
