- Abstract
To observe the pericytes of myocardial capillaries in hypertensive rats with diabetes mellitus. The two kidney one clip hypertensive rat model and hypertension combined with diabetes rat model were used. After successful modeling, they were divided into three groups: control group (n = 10); hypertension group (n = 10); hypertension diabetes group (n = 10). The control group was given normal saline (NS) by gavage. Cardiac function, hemodynamics, blood glucose, free fatty acids, blood lipids and other related indicators were observed and analyzed logically. Finally, the data were statistically analyzed. In general, the cardiac index of hypertension group was significantly higher than that of control group (P < 0.05), and that of hypertension diabetes group was significantly higher than that of hypertension group (P < 0.05). Compared with the control group, LVSP and lvdep in hypertension group were higher than those in control group (P < 0.05); LVSP and LVEDP in hypertension diabetes group were significantly lower than those in hypertension group (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in blood glucose and free fatty acid content between the hypertension group and the control group; compared with the hypertension group, the blood glucose and free fatty acid content in the hypertension diabetes group were significantly higher (P < 0.05). Compared with the control group, the level of FAF in hypertension group was significantly higher than that in control group, and the level of FAF in hypertension diabetes group was also significantly higher than that in hypertension group (P < 0.05). Compared with hypertension group, TC and LDL-C were significantly increased, HDL-C was significantly decreased (P < 0.05), but GT had no significant change in hypertension and diabetes group. Pericytes of myocardial capillaries may be the main effector cells of myocardial fibrosis in rats and play a role in the early stage of myocardial fibrosis. Diabetes aggravates the progress of cardiac hypertrophy and cardiac dysfunction in hypertensive rats.
