- Abstract
Introduction: Phyllanthus niruri is a perennial tropical shrub, which has been used for a wide range of diseases. Medicinally active plants have proven to be the best reservoirs of diverse phytochemical for the synthesis of biogenic silver nanoparticles (AgNPs). Aim: The aim of the study was to evaluate the antiinflammatory property of p.niruri by using protein denaturation assay. Materials and Methods: AgNP is synthesized using P. niruri and albumin denaturation assay was used to evaluate the anti-inflammatory property. Result: P. niruri mediated AgNP showed a marked anti-inflammatory activity. Conclusion: We concluded that P. niruri mediated AgNP has good anti-inflammatory activity at its high concentration which is equipotent when compared to the standard drug standard drug.
