- Abstract
Generally, the non-linear pressure-sensitive flow problem in fractal porous media with three typical (infinite, closed and constant pressure) outer boundaries mathematically transforms into a boundary value problem of generalized Bessel equation with Robin boundary conditions. Traditional methods used to solve them are usually complex. To reduce the complexity, a new Similar Construction Method using an algebraic approach is introduced. This paper presents that solutions to the boundary value problems of generalized Bessel equation in Laplace space be directly constructed by Similar Construction Method, instead of complicated mathematical derivation and computation. The solution hence obtained by Stehfest algorithm reveals three outer boundaries on distributions of reservoir pressure and bottom hole pressure. It shows that the Similar Construction Method is not only expedient in solving the boundary value problems, but also in simplifying programming thereof.
