Palestinian refugees: the right to return.
- Authors
Aruri, N.
- Abstract
Contributions to this volume from a range of international authors cover various facets of refugee issues and, in particular, the human and legal case of Palestinian refugee rights. The book focuses on the question of the Palestinian right to return to their homes which has been upheld in international law and in the UN Resolutions for the last five years and denied by Israel. The book is divided into an introductory essay and four parts that include the urgency of the re-emergence of the refugee right of return; its historical roots and context; the interests and behaviour of major actors - Israel, the United States, the European Union and the PLO; and the legal case and strategy for a just solution.
