- Abstract
In this paper, we consider problems associated with free vibration of functionally graded thick spherical shells. We perform our analysis by collecting the radial basis functions, according to the third-order shear deformation theory that accounts the thickness deformation consuming the principle of virtual work. Numerical results which include spherical shell panels with all edges simply supported or clamped are presented to validate the accuracy of the present approach.
