Although very compelling poets have grown in the Turkish poetry of this period, Necip Fazıl Kısakürek is just one of the unindoctrinated poets wiht his works penned, his mission owned and his fame justifiedly obtained. One poem personally identified with Kısakürek's name is 'Kaldırımlar' (Sidewalks), the other is 'Çile' (Anguish). As it was made interpretations and analyses on the other poems of the Poet in Turkish literature, it was made also interpretations and analyses on his poem 'Çile' (Anguish). However, this long poem consisting of 28 quatrains are not addressed in a wide format from language and style as a whole. In this article, Necip Fazıl Kısakürek's poem 'Çile' (Anguish) has been taken as a whole and has been analyzed from literary point of view.
