- Abstract
The introduction of the new methodology of qualitative mathematics and modeling (QMAM) shifts the subject matter of physics from the appearances of nature (natural phenomena) to nature itself. Moreover, it unifies the natural sciences under the grand unified theory (GUT). Its theoretical and practical applications encompass biology, geological and atmospheric sciences, physical psychology, astrophysics, cosmology, medicine and engineering. The common thread is the superstring, the fundamental building block of matter discovered in 1997 through QMAM; it was required for the solution of the gravitational n-body problem.
