- Abstract
The adoption of the MIL Cities framework is a proposal that encompasses resilient, smart, healthy, creative and innovative cities. In the present work it is proposed to show how the implementation of this paradigm could contribute to overcoming some of the structural and health problems in universities. To do this, an exploratory and comparative analysis is carried out using 13 indicators inspired by the MIL cities paradigm, adapted to university cities, delving into the University of Sao Paolo. As a main result, it is evident that there is still a long way to go before university campuses can be evaluated as smart. It concludes by stating that there is no solid preventive planning to combat diseases and pandemics.
