- Title
Entrepreneurship Extreme Teaching (EET): X-lecturing, Training the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs.
- Authors
Lawson, Gary W.
- Abstract
Entrepreneurship is risk taking, out-of-the-box thinking and acting within a business environment. Thus, teaching entrepreneurship should logically use innovatives, nontraditional, creative, out-of-the-box, unique pedagogical techniques. The techniques represented in this paper illustrate Entrepreneurship Extreme Teaching (EET). EET is best used in entrepreneurship classes with upper division and MBA level entrepreneurship, business and marketing majors. As EET techniques are unique to the classroom, their effectiveness as a teaching philosophy needs further objective, long term research. Although the listed techniques may not be appropriate for everyone, the purpose of the paper is to help academicians to think about and initiate unique, new classroom, interactive, inclusive classroom teaching methodologies.
