- Abstract
The present study aimed to understand the personality traits and criteria associated with the choice of a career in business. 392 students from eight undergraduate business area of a private college in northern Mexico Participated in this study 392. A questionnaire with a section on an ordinal scale for the criteria selected career choice and an interval-scale section for selection of personality traits associated with each of the degrees. Used descriptive statistics and analysis of factors for analyzing the data. The results suggest that there is no particular personality profile for each degree, and that students choose a career mainly by external influences.
