- Abstract
Objective: This study aimed to: identify possible stressors agents at nursing work and discuss the reactions shown to minimize the stressors agents on staff working activity. Method: This is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach, semi-structured interview used for data collection. Conducted in closed sectors of a Maternity Hospital, located in Rio de Janeiro, with 28 employees participants of the nursing team. Results:The Stressors factors in the Surgical Center Obstetric are directed to interpersonal relationships and in Intensive Care Units of work organization. The strategies used to cope with stressors are conditioned by personal values. Conclusion: The study identified the need for creation of institutional spaces that provide more interaction among team members, where the subject can express the feelings of anxiety, of dissatisfaction and conflict, experienced in the workplace.
