- Abstract
The article offers information on the association of increased estimated pulmonary arterial systolic pressure with excess mortality in adults diagnosed with sickle cell disease (SCD). It describes the complex clinical phenotype of SCD. The findings of several clinical examinations conducted on the study are also discussed, such as echocardiographic data derived from the Apollo Advance Cardiac Imaging Database and the estimated glomerular filtration rate.
