- Abstract
The article discusses the contributions of newly formed blood vessels in stimulating angiogenesis. It is inferred that survival and growth of solid tumor deposits depends critically on the development of blood vessel network which is acquired by incorporating existing host blood vessels. There are several approach in detecting tumor neovasculature including drug, antibody and gene therapy-based approach. Testing neovasculature as preventive new blood vessel growth is already developing.
