- Abstract
This article presents an observation on the association of some dermatoses associated with South American pemphigus foliaceus. The dermatoses observed in this article are vaccinia, herpes simplex, trichophytosis, warts and scabies. Infection by vaccinia or herpes simplex virus often produces the clinical picture known as Kaposi's varicelliform eruption. The analysis of observation reveals that Kaposi's varicelliform eruption is found in patients with active lesions of South American pemphigus foliaceus. Dermatophytosis is usually found in patients whose condition are under control by corticosteroids.
