- Abstract
The article reports on Pneumocephalus from Bronchopleural-Subarachnoid Fistula human abnormalities. A 70-year-old man with a carcinoma of the upper lobe of the right lung was treated with chemotherapy followed by lobectomy. Surgery and postoperative recovery were uncomplicated. One month later, daily frontal bilateral headache commenced and after another month, progressive drowsiness, confusion, aphasia and a right faciobrachial hemiparesis were observed. CT revealed air in the lateral ventricles and the subarachnoid space and spinal cord MRI showed pneumorrhachis and a bronchopleural-subarachnoid fistula.
