Abstract
The article focuses on neurofibromatosis, or tumors that originate from nerve tissues. It states that neurofibroma are derived from perineural fibroblasts, and that the majority of neurofibromas that occur in the neck and oral cavity are solitary. It mentions that most intraoral neurofibromas are found in the tongue, lips, and buccal mucosa, and can be diagnosed via biopsy.
