- Abstract
The article discusses a study which conducted the on-surface polymerization on the surface of titanium dioxide, a semiconducting metal oxide. The process was found to be more universal and a promising method for constructing miscellaneous molecular devices on substrates with a suitable band gap. The study successfully demonstrated the feasibility of thermally triggered, on-surface polymerization of titanium dioxide surface.
