- Title
Chapter Eight: Harish-Chandra Modules over Z.
- Authors
Harder, Günter; Raghuram, A.
- Abstract
This chapter was written during the preparation of this book, when we wanted to provide a proof of the rationality of the intertwining operator and we also wanted to formulate a conjecture concerning the arithmetic properties of this intertwining operator. (See Quest. 8.82.) In the meanwhile, Uwe Weselmann gave a positive answer to this question by explicit computation of the effect of this intertwining operator on some very special vectors (see Chap. 9), making this current chapter a bit redundant. However, we believe that there are some interesting rationality and integrality aspects that are discussed in this chapter that can prove to be useful for later applications and possible generalizations to other reductive groups.
