- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 20-year-old Caucasian woman who is with a 9-month history of recurrent itchy facial dermatitis with associated periobital swelling. She is afflicted with facial dermatitis due to using of cosmetic cleansing product that is declared to contain iodopropynyl butylcarbamate (IPBC), a biocide reactive chemical with expected irritant and allergenic potential. Her facial inflammation resolved after discontinuing the use of the cosmetic cleansing wipe.
