- Abstract
The article discusses the results of an analysis conducted by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on reverse sequence screening for syphilis from 2006 to 2010. The analysis found that enzyme and chemiluminescence immunoassays (EIA/CIA) had a nonreactive rapid plasma reagin (RPR) test. It also offered clinical information on Treponema pallidum. An editorial comment on the report is also presented.
