- Abstract
The article discusses the cases of carbon monoxide (CO) exposures related to Hurricane Sandy in the Northeastern U.S. in 2012. According to data, a total of 263 CO exposures related to the hurricane had been reported to poison centers as of November 6. The cases were from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland and Delaware. Some ways to prevent CO exposures are provided.
