- Abstract
Date Presented 03/31/2022 Sedentary behavior is prevalent and related to numerous chronic diseases. The Everyday Meaningful Activities (EMA) intervention is individualized and client centered and aims to increase adherence to active lifestyle behaviors. We showed the preliminary effectiveness of the EMA intervention in forming new active behavior habits and decreasing sedentary time among older adults living in the community. The EMA intervention can potentially be integrated into current OT practice. Primary Author and Speaker: Young Joo Kim Additional Authors and Speakers: Melissa Dale, Anne E.
