Relates that physicians in Canada are being asked to warn patients not to stockpile drugs and medication due to concern over the year 2000 (Y2K) date conversion. The creation of the Pharmacy Supply Chain Task Force to deal with hoarding and other Y2K-related issues; Concern that stockpiling leading to a shortage of medication.
