- Authors
Silversides, Ann
- Abstract
The article reports on the lack of priority in promoting electronic medical records in Canada. Bill Pascal, chief technology officer for the Canadian Medical Association, states that Canadian doctors are behind from many developed countries to adopt basic electronic medical records due to less attention in promoting the transition and lack of support.. Moreover, a 2009 survey of primary care physicians shows that only 37% of family physicians were using electronic medical records.
