- Title
EICHMANN AND HIS GHOSTS.
- Authors
Franklin, Cynthia G.
- Abstract
The article discusses developments in the study of humanities as of October 2014, particularly in the interrelations between humans and human rights as seen in the works of Hannah Arendt like "Eichmann in Jerusalem: A Report on the Banality of Evil." The importance of Arendt's writings is highlighted due to such global events as the U.S.' war on terror, the growing violence against Palestinians in Israel, and the occupied Palestinian Territories. Also cited is Dirk Moses' comment on Arendt.
