- Abstract
The study aims to develop a new algorithm for student learning effectiveness analysis and its learning misconception. The threshold of reachable grey structural modeling (RGSM) has been used to determine whether students' learning is effective and rough set is used to identify the core of misconceptions. Results indicated that as the thresholds of RGSM changes, the core of misconceptions of students' learning also varies. The proposed method can be used to integrate information from students ' question-response data. The acquired information can be used for diagnosing students ' learning effectiveness and revising the instructor's leaching strategies to improve the grades of the entire class, enhance teaching effectiveness, and control leaching quality. This method can diagnose the effectiveness of teachers' leaching or students' learning and determine the misconceptions of teacher's teaching and students ' learning.
