- Abstract
Objective To observe the influence of quercetin on esophagus cancer Eca109 cell's proliferation and apoptosis. Methods Cultured esophagus cancer Eca109 cell in vitro. Used MTT method to test the influence of quercetin with different concentration, (40, 80, 160, 320 p,mol/L) on esophagus cancer Eca109 cell's proliferation after 24,48,72 h. Used flow cytome try to test the influence of quercetin with different concentration on esophagus cancer Eca109 cell's apoptosis after 24 h. Results Quercetin had obvious inhibiting effect on esophagus cancer Eca109 cell's proliferation,the more concentrated the quercetin was and the longer the time was, the greater the inhibiting effect was. The inhibiting rate of quercetin with different concentration on esophagus cancer Eca109 cell's proliferation was clearly higher than control group , difference showing statistical significance(P< 0.05). 24 h after applied uercetin with different concentration on esophagus cancer Eca109 cell,the apoptosis rate was tested to rise along with concentration increasement and was clearly higher than control group, differences showing statistical significance (P<0.05). Conclusion Quercetin can distinctly inhibit esophagus cancer Eca109 cell's proliferation,and induce esophagus cancer Eca109 cell's apoptosis in a time and dosage dependent effect.
