Abstract
The article discusses the study which examines the possible risk of oral disease in developing cognitive impairments and dementia. It reports that the findings of the research study suggests that a low number of teeth has an association with dementia in later life. However, it stresses that researchers have stated that it is not yet clear from their findings the association is causal or casual.
