- Abstract
PRE-PANDEMIC COLONOSCOPY Before the pandemic, colonoscopy practice and the diagnosis and prevention of bowel cancer was less than ideal. MITIGATIONS TO THE REDUCTION IN ENDOSCOPY CAPACITY Most pre-COVID colonoscopy demand was created by "symptom-led" programmes, relying on urgent colonoscopy to rule out a diagnosis of colorectal cancer.
