- Abstract
Adblocker is an application extension that works to block or prevent digital advertisements from appearing on the page moment a person is browsing on online media; each audience has a specific purpose in their browsing, which they do not want to be disturbed as that pop up at the same time looking for the information he wants. they uses adblockers that can focus their attention and navigate the website faster; this research aims to determine the influence of adblockers on quality attention energy millennials in searching for information on online media websites. The population in this study is the millennial generation who live in the capital of Jakarta. The sample in this study is determined using the Slovin formula with the number of millennial generations in Jakarta, as many as 2.83 million people. This study determined a sample of 100 respondents. This study uses a quantitative methodology, and the data collection technique used is a questionnaire. The data is processed by correlation, simple linear regression analysis, and determination with the SPSS version 23 computer program analysis tool. The results showed that the use of adblockers had a significant effect on the quality of attention of the millennial generation on the website in searching for information.
