- Title
Should foundation year doctors rotate through anaesthetics and critical care?
- Authors

- Abstract
The article explores whether providing rotation in anaesthetics and critical care to foundation doctors improves practical skills for management of patients, as compared to ward-based competencies and service provision. As per R. Higgins and colleague's survey, a rotation in anaesthetics brings together previously learnt skills and focuses the junior doctor. Also mentioned are the Foundation Programme, and The New Doctor, which foundation year doctors must pass.
