- Abstract
The University of applied health sciences, Bochum, offers a comprehensive and practice-oriented undergraduate bachelor program in occupational therapy. The course includes teaching and learning content that is structured in modules and leads to improved self-reflection and independent learning. Case-oriented and interprofessional learning has been integrated as a central learning method in order to get as close as possible to situations typically met in healthcare and at the same time consider them from an academic and scientific position. The undergraduate studies in occupational therapy aim to enable the students to work in a science-based, evidence-based and reflective manner within various fields of action and in differently structured clinical teams.
