- Abstract
The text focuses on the democratization policies of higher education showing its dependence on the nature and level of adaptation between the uninterrupted advance of the commodification of social life and the reaction of social organizations, as well as the incidence of public policies to introduce reforms that limit the vicious circles of structural heterogeneity, the concentrated control of administrative institutions and social inequality, within which it is necessary to understand the expectations, aspirations and educational choices of young people in their demand for inclusion in higher education. The objective of the study is to expose the characteristics of the youth population and the demand for access, as well as the social and institutional conditions of permanence and progression in the general perspective of educational trajectories are one of the main challenges, both for knowledge and for educational policies. The method is serial interannual analysis with a statistical approach.
